The RAA Board of Directors is comprised of up to twelve non-executive Directors elected by RAA Members. The Constitution empowers the Board to appoint a Managing Director in addition to the elected members or casual Board vacancy appointees.
Directors represent all members (rather than a class of members or geographic region).
Elizabeth Perry - President & Chairman of the Board
Elizabeth (Liz) Perry joined the RAA Board in March 2009 and is President and Chair of the Association. Liz is a Consultant for EMA Legal, specialising in employment and industrial relations. She is Chair of RAA Insurance Ltd, Director of Ritosa Pty Ltd and Ankara Pty Ltd, Deputy Chancellor of the Flinders University Council, and a member of various law associations.
Liz is Chair of the Group Governance, Nominations & Remuneration, and Appeals Committees, and a member of the Audit, Risk & Compliance and Group Investment Committees.
Peter Siebels - Vice-President

Peter Siebels joined the RAA Board in 2008 and is Vice-President. Peter is currently a professional Director and Advisor. He was previously a taxation specialist with KPMG and enjoyed a 30 year career with that firm including serving on its National Board and as National Managing Partner Private Enterprise. He is currently Principal of 4D Advisory, a Director of RAA Insurance, Chairman of Fox Creek Wines and the Electricity Industry Superannuation Scheme, Director of ECH, and a Council member and Chair of the Finance Committee of the University of Adelaide.
Peter is Chair of the Audit and Risk & Compliance Committees, and a member of the Group Investment, Group Governance Nominations & Remuneration and Appeals Committees.

David Cross joined the RAA Board in 2007 and is Past President of the Association. David has significant experience as a CEO and senior finance executive, working primarily in large global businesses. He is Director of RAA Insurance Ltd, Director of Operations (Asia Pacific) for Specsavers, and a non-executive director of a number of businesses in the Asia Pacific region.
David is a member of the Audit, Risk & Compliance, and Group Governance Nominations & Remunerations Committees.

George Freney joined the RAA Board in 2018. George is passionate about harnessing rapidly accelerating technology to create opportunities for people, businesses and governments.
An experienced entrepreneur, George has extensive experience as an investor, advisor, founder, director and executive of technology-centric businesses.
He is currently a partner at 11point2, a director of Up Ventures Pty Ltd and a member of the Port Adelaide Football Club Brand & Marketing Committee. George contributes valuable experience and interest in business innovation and ideation.
Ian Stone - Group Managing Director
Ian Stone was appointed Managing Director in August 2009 and formerly CEO from August 2007. Ian has extensive senior management experience and expertise in the motor, home and health insurance industry. He is a Director of RAA Insurance Ltd and various Australian automotive associated entities.
Ian is a member of the Group Investment Committee.

James Sarah joined the RAA Board in 2005. James is Joint Managing Director of the Sarah Group and a Director of Masonic Homes Ltd. A graduate of Harvard Business School, past President of the Property Council, Institute of Building and Hindmarsh Rotary Club; James contributes valuable business, advocacy and community service skills and experience.

Karen Thomas joined the RAA Board in 2011. Karen is the Managing Partner of law firm Fisher Jeffries. Karen brings to the Board her skills and experience as a commercial lawyer, professional board member and private business owner. Karen is a Director and Secretary of Fiscal Pty Ltd, Director of Kapitel Pty Ltd, the Helpmann Academy, the Queen Adelaide Club Ltd and Opacus Pty Ltd. She is also a member of the Higher Education Standards Panel (Cth) and the Board of Examiners (SA). Karen has a keen interest in the development of public infrastructure and better roads.

Kathy Gramp joined the RAA Board in 2013. Kathy’s experience spans a diverse range of Australian organisations. She is Deputy Chairman of Masonic Homes Ltd, Director of the Silver Chain Group Ltd, Codan Ltd, the Australian Institute of Company Directors (SA & NT), and the Bushfire & Natural Hazards CRC, and Member of the Flinders University Council.
Kathy is a member of the Audit, Risk & Compliance Committees.

Ray Grigg joined the RAA Board in 2005. Ray spent 47 years with General Motors in Europe, Japan, and as Director and General Manager of Operations for General Motors-Holden. He is Past President of RAA and the Automobile Association of Australia (AAA) and Past Chairman of the Board of RAA Insurance Ltd. He is Honorary Member of Federation Internationale de l'Automotive (FiA), Chairman of the Bedford Group Ltd and Bedford Pheonix Inc and Patron and Business Ambassador of the Central Districts Football Club.
Ray is a member of the Group Governance Investment and Appeals Committees.
Sharon Starick joined the RAA Board in 2009. Sharon is a primary producer from the Murray Plains and is involved in rural and regional communities. She is Chair of Rural Business Support and SA Murray-Darling Basin NRM Board, and a Director of Animal Health Australia, Unity College, Livestock Biosecurity Network and the Sedan Cambrai Football Netball Club.
Sharon is a member of the Group Governance, Nominations & Remuneration Committee.
Tara Page - General Counsel and Company Secretary
Victoria Angove joined the RAA Board in 2015. Victoria has a strong sales and marketing background, specialising in export, public relations and national account management with experience gained in the local, Asian, North American and European markets. She is joint Managing Director of Angove’s Pty Ltd and Director of Angove Investments Pty Ltd, Angove Nominees Pty Ltd, the Independent Winemakers Group and the Winemakers Federation of Australia.
Victoria is a member of the Group Investment Committee.
